NVIDIA Launches GeForce RTX Gaming Graphics Cards

The next generation of graphic cards are finally here. Nvidia launched the new high-end graphics cards the GeForce RTX 2070, RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti during a pre-Gamescom 2018 livestream from Cologne, Germany. The new generation graphics card will be succeeding the well received top-of-the-line GeForce GTX 1070, GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti.

The RTX 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti will be the first consumer-level graphics cards based on Nvidia’s next-generation Turing architecture which combines industry-leading gaming and VR performance with real-time ray tracing and artificial intelligence. The new GeForce RTX  Graphics Cards will feature built-in support for real-time ray tracing, a  technique used for photorealistic graphics.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang claims that the RTX 2070 GPU is faster than the Titan Xp.Nvidia says the RTX 2080 is designed for overclocking, and the RTX 2070 will offer more performance (for ray-tracing) compared to the Nvidia’s Titan XP card. The new cards will cost a heart for they don’t come cheap.
