Sony officially announced the PlayStation 5 family after along wait amidst various teasers and rumors. The PlayStation 5 was showcased at the PlayStation event that was live streamed on YouTube, it kicked off with the revelation of PlayStation 5 games followed by the console itself and its accessories.
The PS5 will be available at the end of 2020 in two versions : a standard model with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc unit and a digital model without disk drive.
“The PS5 gameplay experience will be the same, so the choice is all yours. While there are some slight differences in the look of each model, for the overall design, we wanted to deliver a console that’s bold, stunning, and unlike any previous generation of PlayStation.”
Other features and the design are overall similar with includes USB-A port and USB-C port along with a power button. It has a dual-tone, Black and White, color finish similar to what we saw with the new DualSense controller unveiled earlier this year.
