When it comes to the design of Vivo Y19 we think Vivo did a great job! It has a shimmering color design which makes it stand out. Our review unit was the spring white version but it is also available in magnetic black. Although its build is plastic, one look at it would easily suggests otherwise. On its back panel is where you will find its rear mounted fingerprint scanner and, Vivo branding and the triple primary camera set up. Check out the photos we took with Vivo Y19 in this article under camera section. This picture should give you a slight idea of what it looks like the Y19.
As already mentioned the display panel of Vivo Y19 it is an FHD+ Halo FullView Display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The screenshot attached shows the home page and gives an idea of what the display of this phone looks like. Yes it is an Android powered with Funtouch 9.2 theming its entire user interface. This display panel can get really bright. And this is a good thing because it makes it visible while outdoors. Consider also that it has a notch which does not get in the way of your 6.53 inch viewing experience. And clearly the notch will not show when you take screenshots 😉
We love that the resolution of the cameras of Vivo Y19 are as high as 16MP for the selfie camera and 16MP + 12MP + 2MP for the set up on the back. But in real sense it is the primary camera that carries the day here. Unlike images shot by it, selfies struggle with capturing detail and tend to over smooth-en the final images. But the primary camera takes some really nice looking photos even in Ultra Wide mode which the 8MP sensor takes.
As for the battery performance we would love to note a few things. But first know tat if you want a phone with a long lasting battery then this one would be a great choice. Its 5000 mAh battery lasted a day and a half of usage during our time using it. And here is the fun part, Vivo Y19 takes under two hours to fully charge. And you can even use it to charge other smartphones thanks to power bank/Reverse charging 5W.
